The people that work for Relationships Australia are highly qualified and experienced professionals from a range of backgrounds including social work, psychology, education and law. All our counselling staff have a tertiary degree as well as experience and additional professional training.
Supporting our counsellors and relationship education professionals is a management team focused on client services, finance, operations, business development, human resources, IT and communications. There is also a library and professional development program. In NSW, Relationships Australia employs more than 400 staff in more than 24 locations.

President (B.Comm, LLB) John Longworth was appointed to the Board in March 2007 and to the position of President in May 2010. John holds degrees in Law and Commerce and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist Lawyer as well as a qualified Family Law Arbitrator. He has over 25 years experience as a private legal practitioner and has considerable experience in community and industry policy development.

Vice President (B Bus CA FAICD) Laura Raymer was appointed to the Board in April 2009. Laura has over 20 years experience as a chartered accountant in public practice and corporate positions. She has a particular interest in corporate restructuring, strategy development and financial management.

Ann Porcino was appointed to the Board in April 2010. Ann is a founding Director of RPR Consulting, a company which provides services to the health and human services sectors. Ann’s previous positions include Director of the Australian Council on Health Care Standards, Director of the Research and Development Unit of the Prince Henry and Prince of Wales Hospital Group and CEO of North Harbour Private Hospital.

(B.Comm; LLB, LLM; GAICD and MAHRI) Louise Fitt has over 25 years experience in general management and human resources across professional services, telecommunications, construction and mining and finance, both in Australia and abroad. Louise has a particular interest in corporate governance, strategy development and change management.

(MPH) Margaret Scott has over 20 years experience in public health program management, policy and strategic development in public and community sectors and as an independent consultant. She has a particular interest in social justice and disadvantaged communities. She is a graduate of the Sydney Leadership Program and currently works as an independent consultant in the human services area.

(PhD, MBA, BSc (Arch) GAICD) Kerrie Bigsworth was appointed to the Board in April 2010. Kerrie has over 20 years experience in public sector policy and planning for human services and considerable experience in the economics of property, ranging from commercial project feasibility studies to negotiating government funding for public housing. Kerrie has a particular interest in strategic planning for service delivery to disadvantaged communities.

(BSc, ACA, GAICD) Helen Wiseman has over 20 years experience working in professional services firms including as a former partner at KPMG. Helen is deeply committed to serving the Australian community and is the Chair of SHINE for Kids, a director of the Sydney Community Foundation and War Widows Guild, and the Melanoma Institute of Australia. She has a keen interest in social justice issues.

Merilyn Sleigh was appointed to the Board in June 2011. Merilyn has extensive experience in senior management positions in both the public and private sectors, including six years as CEO of an ASX listed biotechnology company. She has a specific interest in governance and Human Resource issues and is a non-executive director on several boards spanning the health, agriculture and food industries. |

(BA (Hons) Economics, ACA, GAICD) Frank Francis joined Relationships Australia NSW in June 2011 as the CEO. Frank has extensive experience in change management, finance and structural support for large organisations. Over the course of his career Frank has worked in a number of sectors including property, financial services, funds management, retail motor trade and disability services both in Australia and the UK.
