The Sydney City Family Relationships Centre recently introduced a new information and referral service role, to provide up to date, accurate information on services to families, legal professionals and community service providers.
Family Relationship Centres were established by the Federal Government to help families to strengthen relationships, deal with relationship difficulties, or manage separation and divorce.
“At the Family Relationship Centre people are supported to resolve their parenting disagreements in less adversarial ways, to focus on the needs of their children, and to build more cooperative relationships as parents,” Angela McGufficke, the new Information and Referral Officer at the Sydney City Family Relationships Centre said.
“As part of this new service we’ll be able to identify family and support services in the Inner West, Inner City and Eastern Suburbs and provide the most up to date and detailed information on location, eligibility criteria, fees and waiting periods to a member of the public or legal professional”, Angela said.
